Launch Date: Targeting Feb. 7

– Engine cutoff (ECO) sensor external connector replacement hardware was cleared for installation and arrived at the pad. Installation is tentatively scheduled to begin Saturday
– Testing of the faulty ECO sensor system connector hardware continues at Marshall Space Flight Center
– Space shuttle main engine ball seal leak checks performed Thursday with no issues
– Ascent thrust vector controller No. 2 was replaced Jan. 5 and retested Jan. 6
– Solid rocket booster hydraulic retest scheduled for today

– Shuttle orbiter galley functional checks completed today with no issues
– Removal and replacement work will take place on the purge, vent and drain valve, which is part of the non-breathing air conditioning system, Jan. 14-18
– Nose landing gear strut hydraulic level checks and pressurization for flight performed Wednesday
– Main landing gear struts’ weight on wheels leak check scheduled for Monday
Vehicle Assembly Building high bay No. 1
– External tank/solid rocket booster mate in progress
– External tank is hard mated
– Closeout operations continue through this weekend
– Preparation for ECO sensor external connector replacement will take place Saturday and Sunday

Pressurized Module, Japanese Remote Manipulator System

– Aft bulkhead check valve retest completed Wednesday with no issues
