Description

NASA/JSC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources to provide configuration management products for the Engineering Directorate. This procurement may include, but is not limited to a) processing and tracking change paper for the Engineering Directorate, Directorate-level offices, and Divisions; b) control of configuration management quality records for the Engineering Directorate, Directorate-level offices, and Divisions; c) production-level configuration management of products delivered by the Engineering Directorate; d) configuration management for Engineering Directorate, Directorate-level office, and Divisions? configuration control boards; e) configuration management support within the Divisions for the projects conducted within the Divisions for the Engineering Directorate. JSC plans to issue a five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. JSC plans to issue a Draft RFP. It is the potential offeror?s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. This procurement is a total 8(a) set-aside. 8(a) firms are encouraged to monitor this website. All responses shall be submitted to Julie Karr no later than May 6, 2005.
