Description
This notice of intent issued by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Headquarters (HQ) Procurement Office on behalf of the Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is related to the acquisition strategy for the Web Enterprise Service Technology (WEST) Prime requirement. NASA HQ intends on acquiring these services by competing this requirement among several sources on the General Service Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Information Technology (IT) 70, entitled: General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software, and Services. The solicitation is scheduled to be released in the July/August timeframe to the selected sources. The solicitation will not be posted. However, a copy of the solicitation will be made available to those sources not solicited to upon request.
This procurement effort will not be set-aside to a small business.
An industry day forum will be conducted shortly after the release of the solicitation to discuss specific information about the proposed acquisition necessary for the preparation of proposals, including proposed contract type, terms and conditions, and acquisition planning schedules; the feasibility of the requirement, including performance requirements, statement of work and data requirements; the suitability of the proposal instructions and evaluation criteria, including the approach for assessing past performance information; the availability of reference documents; and any other industry concerns or questions. This forum will be open to the public. Attendees will need to send their name, title, organization, email address, and telephone number to Cedric.M.Mitchener@nasa.gov no later than 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on 19 June 2012. Once that information is received, attendees will be provided with additional information regarding the logistics.
