Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only soliciation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The NASA History Office requires highly experienced project editor and translator services to produce a publication in the NASA History Series based on selected highlights from the diaries of Vasiliy Mishin and Konstantin Feokstikov. The contractor shall be responsible for all activities associated with the production of a final manuscript and shall deliver a fully publishable product. The NASA History Office will administer this project and manage the professional review of the final publication of the work.
Work Location: The Contractor shall conduct the majority of the research in Washington, DC augmented by appropriate research at NASA Field Centers.
Period of Performance and Contract Type: The period of performance is two (2) years after contract award. NASA intends to award a firm fixed price contract. T
