Description
NASA Headquarters intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) NNH09274133R for web services with an agency-wide capability to create, maintain and manage public web sites – primarily www.nasa.gov — and ancillary services. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about September 17, 2009.
This procurement will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. See Note 1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519 with a corresponding size standard of $25M.
NASA Headquarters anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) base, FFP Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) contract with a phase-in start date on or about May 1, 2010.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

This procurement is one of five (5) acquisitions under NASA’s IT Infrastructure Integration Program (I3P), which will integrate business processes and information across organizational lines efficiently and securely. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
