Description

NASA/HQ has a requirement for an Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, Center for Information Systems Research (CISR) annual sponsorship. The term of sponsorship is one year, renewable annually w/two option years.

Sponsorship benefits include: Recognition, Research, Community Access, Protected Website, Executive Education & Student Access

Research forum to discuss research topics and set priority; Annual Workshops & Training; Research results in multiple formats (e.g. research paper, presentation, web publications); Annual schedule of events including research briefings, conferences, research workshops, education sessions.

NASA/HQ intends to purchase the items from Massachusetts Institute of Technology pursuant to FAR 13.106, for acquisition of supplies/services determined reasonably available from only one source.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on August 10, 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
