Description

This notice is issued by the NASA/ARC to post a Request for Information (RFI) via the internet, and solicit responses from interested parties.

The RFI technical documentation is an attachment to this notice.

This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promote competition. Prospective offerors are invited to submit written comments or questions to: Patricia.L.Williams@nasa.gov, no later than March 2, 2010.

When responding reference please reference “NNA10MARSMISSION” Questions in the subject heading.

Comments may be forwarded to Patricia.L.Williams@nasa.gov via electronic transmission.

This presolicitation synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results.

Responses to this RFI are due by 4:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) Friday, April 2, 2010.

The preferred method of response is by e-mail to the contract specialist: Patricia.L.Williams@nasa.gov. Please send response with “NNA10MARSMISSION” in the subject heading. Documents must be in MS Office or Adobe (pdf) file format. Hard copies are not required or requested. If necesssary, please contact the contract specialist to request another method of submittal.

Instructions to Respondents will be included in the Statement of Work (SOW) which will be attached.

An ombudsman has been appointed — See NASA Specific Note “B”.
