Description

NASA/GRC has a requirement for follow-on Leadership Training sessions which will take place for key leaders and potential leaders from a variety of areas within Glenn Research Center by providing specific continued training and development support for its Leadership University Program. The requirement will integrate participant learning from the past “Core Sessions” in Leadership University with a “Service Project” and support the progress of the “Service Project” with guidance and additional teaching of team/project leadership skills. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the training from Accompli, LLC, 5224 Seascape Lane, Plano, Texas.

Accompli has the curriculum for the requested areas already developed and will not require significant time or resources for development or customization. The Government would continue to use Accompli’s off the shelf materials and models currently used. During the first two sessions, their faculty gained great insight in the Leadership University Program, its participants, and the NASA GRC organization. This information puts them in a unique position to provide the continued training.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on June 17, 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.

NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The installation Ombudsman is Kirk Seablom. He can be reached via email at kirk.d.seablom@nasa.gov.
