Description

NASA/JSC has a requirement for International Space Station information technology support services.

NASA/JSC intends to purchase the items from the manufacture, Test Systems, Inc. (TSI). The TSI Remote Terminal Validation (RT Val) test set has been certified for use in the testing and verification of MIL-STD-1553 devices by NASA and the United States Air Force (USAF). The International Space Station (ISS) Program has utilized the TSI RT Validation software has been utilized by the ISS program to test all NASA and International Partner ISS MIL-STD-1553 devices since its inception.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on the above-specified date. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
