Description
NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following Commercial services: The International Space Station (ISS) Commercial Resupply Services 2 (CRS2) contract provides ISS delivery of pressurized and unpressurized cargo, return and disposal of pressurized cargo, disposal of unpressurized cargo, special tasks and studies, and ground support services for the end-to-end cargo resupply services. The supplies to be delivered by terms of the contract include air, water, food, clothing, medicine, spare parts, and scientific experiments for use in the U.S. and International Partner experimental modules.
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 481212 and 1500 employees, respectively.
You are hereby notified that:
1. A draft RFP has been released for CRS2.
2. A pre-solicitation conference is anticipated to be held on or about August 7, 2014, via Lync online presentation.
3. The anticipated release date of the Final RFP is on or about September 30, 2014 with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about November 14, 2014.
4. The Technical Library has been updated on the CRS2 website at http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/crs2/ .
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html .
The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. Updated information concerning the acquisition and schedule can be viewed on the CRS2 website as it becomes available.
Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
