Description

NASA/GRC has a requirement to support commercialization of new technologies; specifically within the Healthcare Industry.

NASA/GRC intends to acquire healthcare industry commercialization support from Cleveland Clinic Innovations to participate in their Alliance Network. As participation in the Alliance Network is only provided through the Cleveland Clinic Innovations membership, it is in the best interest of the Government to acquire this service as a sole source procurement pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE; THIS IS AN INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Parts 12 and 13, simplified acquisitions.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on June 30, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
