Description

NASA/GSFC has a requirement for performance consulting and coaching services to help identify appropriate topics and strategies that would support the Code 600 (Science and Exploration Directorate) community. The services would be related to ongoing diversity needs and projects for the Code 600 Diversity Team, the Code 600 Directorate, and the Goddard Diversity Council, such as working with women scientists to address specific issues and concerns, consulting relating to ongoing diversity challenges, and helping individuals manage transition issues and stressors. Duration of this task will be for 12 months. Also to include a series of Civility Collaboratives in which the contractor will cover 24 collaborative sessions intended to expand the Civility Initiative at GSFC.

NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the services from EDIN Associates. The company created The Civility Cafe and is most qualified, if not the only qualified source for this facilitation.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on March 3, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
