Description

Summary: The Discovery AO is amended to mitigate concerns about the competitive procedures used by NASA Principal Investigators.

On or about March 1, 2006, Amendment No. 2 to the NASA Announcement of Opportunity “Discovery Program 2006 and Missions of Opportunity” (NNH06ZDA001O) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/ (select “Solicitations” then “Open Solicitations” then “NNH06ZDA001O”).

The short period of time between the issuance of Procurement Notice (PN) 04-11 and the issuance of the Discovery AO raises concerns about the application of PN 04-11 in the Discovery AO. A deviation from PN 04-11 has been approved to mitigate these concerns. This deviation is approved only for the Discovery AO.

Appendix B, Section J, Part 8 of the Discovery AO is replaced in its entirety.
