Description
NASA/HQ plans to issue a purchase order for a membership to participate on the CIO Executive Board, a program of the Corporate Executive Board. The authority is only one responsible source 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1).
The membership in Corporate Executive Board provides full access rights to the CIO Executive Board, research, leading-edge content, online resources, member events, decision-support tools and services. The Corporate Executive Board provides best practices research and executive education to a membership of the world’s leading corporations and not-for-profit institutions. Its research addresses issues related to corporate strategy, operations and general management, and it focuses on identifying management initiatives, process, tools and frameworks that will allow its clients to avoid reinventing the wheel in addressing problems they share in common with their peers.
The membership includes unlimited access to proprietary council research for staff designated by the member CIO; a series of Annual Executive Retreats offering a unique opportunity for CIO’s to interact with other Council principals; on site presentation of research of the most progressive IT departments; customized to the Council member’s organizational requirements.
NASA/HQ intends to issue a purchase order to the Corporate Executive Board for a membership in the CIO Executive Board. The authority is only one responsible source 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements” (See FAR 6.302-1). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing, by FAX or E-Mail, to the identified point of contact not later than 12:30 p.m. local time on June 19, 2009. Such capabilities/ qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
