NASA [Smde] A.18 Aura Science Team/ACMAP and A.26 USPI DAPR Virtual Town Hall Meetings June 30 and July 25
Information about two virtual town hall meetings on the implementation of dual-anonymous peer review appears below and has been added as an “Other Document” to the NSPIRES pages for A.18 Aura Science Team/Atmospheric Composition Modeling and Analysis Program and A.26 Earth Science U.S. Participating Investigator. The NOI (for A.26) and proposal due dates remain unchanged. See https://science.nasa.gov/
One town hall will be held on Thursday June 30 at 1 pm Eastern Time and will address both solicitations. A second town hall will be held on Monday July 25 at 3pm Eastern Time and will address only the A.18 Aura Science Team/Atmospheric Composition Modeling and Analysis Program solicitation. The slides from the first town hall will be provided online prior to the proposal deadline.
The town halls will: (1) discuss the motivation for switching to dual-anonymous peer review, (2) explain how dual-anonymous peer reviews work, and (3) describe how to write proposals that are compatible with dual-anonymous peer review. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panelists. During each town hall questions may be submitted anonymously and upvoted. Links to these question pages will be provided in advance of the meetings via a notice on the NSPIRES page for the respective program elements and an update to this document on those pages.
