NASA SMD ROSES-22 Amendment 31: Draft of E.11 — Research Pathfinder for Beyond Low Earth Orbit Space Biology Investigations
When it is released in its final form, E.11 Artemis Research Pathfinder for Beyond Low Earth Orbit Space Biology Investigations (Artemis II beyond LEO) will solicit proposals for biological research experiments with invertebrates as internal payloads on the Orion spacecraft during the upcoming Artemis II mission. To be eligible, proposals to this program element must utilize and will be limited to only one of the two following model organisms: Drosophila melanogaster (fruit fly) or Caenorhabditis elegans (nematode).
ROSES-2022 Amendment 31 releases a draft of E.11 Artemis II beyond LEO to be released in its final form in ROSES 2022 no earlier than August 1, 2022. It is expected that the final text will include only minor changes/clarifications to this document; in that case, the time from release to the proposal due date may be fewer than 90 days.
Any questions or comments about this announcement or the draft text should be directed to Sharmila Bhattacharya at spacebiology@nasaprs.com.
On or about July 1, 2022, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2022” (NNH22ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.
