NASA SMD ROSES-22 Amendment 30: A.25 Airborne Instrument Technology Transition Not Solicited This Year

When it is solicited, Airborne Instrument Technology Transition (AITT) seeks to help instruments developed under NASA’s Instrument Incubator Program, or by similar NASA programs or activities, become ready for scientific use on various platforms supported by the Airborne Science Program.

AITT was originally included in ROSES-2022 as a TBD placeholder that indicated that it “may” be solicited. Amendment 30 announces that Airborne Instrument Technology Transition will not be solicited in ROSES-2022. It is anticipated that it will be solicited next no earlier than ROSES-2024.

On or about June 29, 2022, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2022” (NNH22ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2022 and will appear on SARA’s ROSES blog at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2022/

Questions concerning AITT or this amendment may be directed to Barry Lefer at Barry.Lefer@nasa.gov.
