NASA’s Physical Sciences Research Program will fund eight ground-based proposals that will use the NASA Physical Sciences Informatics (PSI) system (http://psi.nasa.gov), an online database of past and current physical science International Space Station (ISS) flight experiments. These studies will use flight experimental data from the space station that is currently stored in the PSI system to investigate important problems in the areas of combustion science, complex fluids, fluid physics, and materials science in order to advance fundamental research in the physical sciences.
