ROSES-22 Amendment 15: D.12 Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics Networks Final Text and Due Dates

The Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics Networks (TCAN) program was established with the following goals:

·        To support coordinated efforts in fundamental theory and computational techniques in order to make groundbreaking advances in astrophysics;

·        To strengthen theoretical and computational astrophysics in the U.S. by uniting researchers in collaborative networks that cross institutional and geographical divides; and,

·        To advance the training of the future workforce of theoretical and computational scientists.

The period of performance for D.12 TCAN investigations will be three years. The program will support research networks with three or more nodes at distinct institutions.

ROSES-2022 Amendment 15 releases final text and due dates for D.12 TCAN, which was previously TBD. NOIs are requested by July 8, 2022 and proposals are due August 4, 2022.

On or about May 5, 2022, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2022” (NNH22ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2022 and will appear on SARA’s ROSES blog at:https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2022/

Questions concerning D.12 TCAN may be directed to Sanaz Vahidinia at sanaz.vahidinia@nasa.gov.
