NASA ROSES-20 Amendment 77: A.45 In-Space Validation of Earth Science Technologies (InVEST) Final Text and Due Dates Released
Through the In-Space Validation of Earth Science Technologies (InVEST) program, NASA’s Earth Science Division validates new technologies, measurement concepts and techniques, prior to their inclusion in Earth science missions. The objective of InVEST is to test viability of these concepts in the space environment, especially those attributes that cannot be fully tested on the ground or in airborne systems, to reduce the risk to future Earth science missions.
The validation of new technologies and measurement concepts/techniques in space can significantly reduce the risk to future Earth science missions. The InVEST program element is intended to overcome these limitations.
ROSES-2020 Amendment 77 releases final text for A.45 InVEST. Notices of intent to propose are requested by January 29, 2021, and proposals are due by March 9, 2021.
On or about December 8, 2020, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2020” (NNH20ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.
