NASA ROSES-18 Amendment 41: H-USPI deferred to ROSES-19
ROSES-18 Amendment 41: B.11 Heliophysics Explorer U.S. Participating Investigator will not be solicited in ROSES-2018. It is anticipated that it will be solicited in ROSES-2019.
The purpose of this program element Heliophysics Explorer U.S. Participating Investigator (H-USPI) is to, in connection with a Stand Alone Mission of Opportunity Notice (SALMON) Announcement of Opportunity, solicit potential Heliophysics Explorer Mission of Opportunity investigations in which investigators participate as a Co-Investigator for an instrument, experiment, or technology demonstration that is being built and flown by a sponsor agency other than NASA.
The intention is that proposals submitted in response to the SALMON solicitation would be reviewed at the same time as proposals submitted in response to the ROSES program element for Heliophysics Explorer U.S. Participating Investigators.
However, this program element will not be solicited in ROSES-2018. It is anticipated that it will be solicited in ROSES-2019, which will be released in mid February, 2019.
On or about December 10, 2018 this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2018” (NNH18ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/ and will appear on the RSS feed at: https://science.nasa.gov/
