ROSES-17 Amendment 20: A new opportunity in program element A.51, the Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment III (SAGE III) Science Team.

The Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment III (SAGE III) was launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on 19 February 2017. The SAGE III instrument’s primary objective is to monitor the vertical distribution of aerosols, ozone, and other trace gases in the Earth’s stratosphere and troposphere to enhance our understanding of ozone recovery and climate change processes in the stratosphere and upper troposphere (https://sage.nasa.gov/missions/about-sage-iii-on-iss/).

Program element A.51 seeks proposals for members of the SAGE III Science Team. Notices of Intent to propose are requested by September 7, 2017 and proposals are due November 7, 2017.

On or about August 7, 2017, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2017” (NNH17ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/ and will appear on the RSS feed at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2017/
