NASA ROSES-14 Amendment 18: Decrease in scope of B.7, H-IDEE
![NASA ROSES-14 Amendment 18: Decrease in scope of B.7, H-IDEE](https://media2.spaceref.com/news/corplogos/nasa.07.jpg)
The goal of the Heliophysics Infrastructure and Data Environment Enhancements (H-IDEE) program is to enable breakthrough research in Heliophysics by providing both a state of the art data environment and necessary supporting infrastructure to maximize the scientific return of the NASA missions. This program has two main research thrusts, Data Environment Enhancements and Infrastructure.
On release of ROSES-14 in February 2014, the text of B.7 indicated that the Heliophysics Infrastructure portion (Section 1.3) of the call would be solicited. This Amendment cancels that part of the call. Only Section 1.2, Heliophysics Data Environment Enhancements, will be competed in ROSES-14. The Heliophysics Overview (Appendix B.1) and Heliophysics Supporting Research Program (H-SR, Appendix B.2) have also been modified slightly to indicate this change in scope in B.7.
On or about May 1, 2014, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2014” (NNH14ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/ and will appear on the RSS feed at: http://nasascience.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2014
