NASA ROSES-12 Amendment 25: Change of Scope and Points of Contact for Appendix D.3

The Astrophysics Research and Analysis Program (APRA) program seeks to support research that addresses the best possible (i) state-of-the-art detector technology development for instruments that may be proposed as candidate experiments for future space flight opportunities; (ii) science and/or technology investigations that can be carried out with instruments flown on suborbital sounding rockets, stratospheric balloons, or other platforms; and (iii) supporting technology, laboratory research, and/or (with restrictions) ground-based observations that are directly applicable to space astrophysics missions.

This Amendment defers until ROSES-13 the portion of this solicitation on Laboratory Astrophysics proposals of potentially larger scope that address the acquisition of data for understanding the molecular universe at infrared and submillimeter wavelengths (see Section 1.2.4). The funding level for Laboratory Astrophysics remains unchanged. This amendment also changes several of the points of contact (see Section 3).

The due date for notices of intent to propose and proposals remain unchanged at January 25, 2013, and March 22, 2013, respectively.
