NASA Robotics Academy

NASA is accepting applications for the 2007 NASA Robotics Academy. The academy is a 10-week, residential summer research and educational opportunity for undergraduate (freshman and sophomore included) and graduate students interested in robotics.

Participants will attend lectures and workshops with experts in their field, work in supervised research, and visit a number of robotics-related academic laboratories and industries.

To be eligible to apply, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. They must have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens. Students who have previously participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition or Botball, or have taken active interest in robotics in demonstrable ways, are given priority.

Applications are due Jan. 16, 2007.
