Description
(RAPID III) is a multiple award, IDIQ, Fixed Price type contract, for satellite bus core systems with any necessary modifications to meet specific Mission needs. The scope of the work includes design and development of the spacecraft, integration of Government provided scientific instruments, spacecraft/observatory integration and test, shipment of observatory to launch site, observatory launch support, on-orbit checkout of observatory, and on-orbit operations as required.
Periodically, within the contracts effective ordering period, the Contracting Officer will accept and evaluate proposals with the intention of adding contracts and/or modifying existing contracts to place additional core spacecraft and options in the Rapid III Catalog. This will be done via “On-Ramps.”
On-Ramp 3 for the Rapid III contract is hereby opened to receive offers from vendors for the Rapid III contract. Proposals for On-Ramp 3 will be accepted by the RSDO Contracting Officer through May 18, 2015.
Prospective offerors shall submit a written response of their intent to submit a proposal to Cynthia White via electronic transmission at Cynthia.L.White@nasa.gov , by April 15, 2015.
On-Ramp 3 proposals shall be subject to the same proposal instructions and evaluation procedures as the updated Rapid III Request for Proposal NNG10207304R Rev2 dated March 17, 2015. Proposal instructions and evaluation procedures may be obtained from the RSDO website, http://rsdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/ , under the “Rapid III” menu option.
Proposals for On-Ramp 3 are due NLT 2:00 pm eastern standard time on May 18, 2015. All proposal packages must be closed and sealed. All shipping boxes/packages must be labeled with the company name or logo clearly visible on the outside.
