NASA’s Science Mission Directorate requests input from the community on ideas for programs that build the capacity of emerging international partners to partner with NASA on flight programs as it seeks to cultivate cooperation with more international partners. The information requested should include information on innovative ways to create a capacity development program that will provide training for leaders from partner nations that have few to no partnerships with NASA in flight projects and missions.
This is a Request for Information (RFI) on behalf of NASA’s entire Science Mission Directorate. A response to this RFI does not guarantee a commitment that NASA will fund such capacity development programs. Any program that is developed by NASA would follow all rules and regulations regarding ITAR, EAR and Appropriations Act restrictions related to China. The RFI responses will assist SMD in developing part if its overall strategy implementation for international partnerships.
This RFI seeks responses broadly from U.S. industry, universities, non-profit organizations, individuals, NASA centers, and other U.S. government agencies. NASA will use responses to further inform planning and possible program development.
