Description

NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Occupational Medicine Occupational Health Contract (OMOHC).

The contract shall implement the Occupational Medicine and Occupational Health (OMOH) program at the Johnson Space Center (JSC), which includes activities onsite at JSC and at selected remote sites. The contractor shall provide all necessary resources to establish and conduct a comprehensive program that fulfills the Occupational Medicine, Occupational Health, and Test Support requirements of the Johnson Space Center (JSC), Sonny Carter Training Facility (SCTF), Ellington Field, and NASA installations in Russia. This includes sampling and analytical functions for the JSC environmental services program. An Industrial Hygiene program shall also be conducted at White Sands Test Facility (WSTF), Las Cruces, New Mexico.

The period of performance for this contract is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2005.

The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-9 The anticipated release for a draft RFP is on or about September 7, 2004. It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated release date of the final RFP is on or about October 29, 2004 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about December 16, 2004. An ombudsman has been appointed — See NASA Specific Note “B”. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
