Description
NASA plans to award a 1-year membership to the National Association of Colleges (NACE). The authority is only one responsible source 10. U.S.C.2304?(1). This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NACE products provides its members an unparalleled opportunity to advertise employment opportunities in premier national recruitment venues and offers recruitment research tools to each NASA Center.
Membership will entitle NASA to use the NACE Information Center, providing research statistics, legal opinions, and studies; display a NASA profile on the NACE JobWeb, which receives over 5 million hits per month; receive three publications, Salary Survey, Spotlight, and Journal of Career Planning and Employment, which provide global compensation trends, legal and employment trends, and human resources issues and trends. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 08/30/2002.
Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note “B”.
