Description
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is releasing this Notice of Availability (NOA) for Vertical Landing, Launch Operation and Support, and Assembly, Testing, and Processing land uses as described in the KSC Master Plan, effective this date. The purpose of the NOA is to provide public notice of an opportunity for potential partners to develop commercial space capabilities at KSC. The definitions of these land uses and further information on the KSC Master Plan is available at: http://masterplan.ksc.nasa.gov KSC will hold an Industry Day on June 16, 2015 to allow interested parties an opportunity to visit the sites, clarify their understanding of this opportunity, and prepare their best response. A Request to Attend Industry Day form is attached to this synopsis. Please complete and return this form to the Agreement Officer by 12:00 pm EDT on June 15, 2015 to register for the Industry Day. Comments and questions on the NOA must be submitted to the Point of Contact listed below. Respondents may also indicate their level of interest in or their intent to submit a response to this announcement. Comments and questions are due no later than 12:00 pm EDT on June 22, 2015. Response instructions are described in the NOA. Potential respondents are responsible for monitoring the Internet site below for any official communications regarding the NOA and for downloading their own copy of the NOA and any amendments. Concurrent KSC Activity: Announcement For Proposal – KSC Master Plan Implementation; Vertical Launch Land Use KSC is issuing an Announcement For Proposal (AFP) concurrent with this NOA. The purpose of the AFP is to publicize the opportunity for commercial development of Vertical Launch Land Uses on KSC. Refer to AFP-KSC-MPI- 2015.
