Description

NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) has a requirement for the use of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center (USSRC) Education Training Facility (ETF) to assist the MSFC and other near-site locations as required in fulfilling their training mission.

MSFC is located in Huntsville, Alabama and intends to purchase this service with USSRC for the ETF access/usage to all storage, training/classrooms/meeting rooms, laboratories, dining/break areas, auditorium and restrooms will be provided to both USSRC and MSFC for use of the Education Training Facility. ETF provides the tools and furnishings necessary to conduct training and professional development activities for a variety of levels in educators, MSFC employees, contractors and others.

The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on September 15, 2015. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
