Description
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) invites you to submit a response to this Request for Information (RFI) to assist NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in its National Space Science Technology Center Research Facility (NSSTC) acquisition planning. The Science and Technology Office (STO) at MSFC requires an office and laboratory mixed use space located outside of but within 20 miles of the MSFC. The MSFC will expect accommodations for approximately 255 MSFC personnel housed in a collaborative research environment. This facility conducts research in areas including Earth Science Research and Applications, Heliophysics, Space Weather, Planetary Science, and Astrophysics. The requirements associated with the RFI are provided in the attached document.
This is a RFI only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that NASA will take procurement action in this matter. Further, neither NASA nor the Government will be responsible for any cost incurred in furnishing this information.
This RFI is being used to obtain information for planning purposes only, subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled “Solicitation for Information and Planning Purposes”. This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. The Government does not presently intend to award a contract at this time, and this RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract. As stipulated in FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Moreover, the Government will not pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI, nor will the Government reimburse for costs incurred to prepare responses to this RFI.
