Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Description of Items: Item 1)Glock Model 23(40 Caliber)with Tritium Night Sight, Qty.-69(each); Item 2)13-Round High Capacity Law Enforcement Magazines, Qty – 207 (each); Item 3)Uncle Mike Pro 3 Holster, Qty.-61(each); and 4) Uncle Mike Double Magazine Pouch Cordura Nylon, Qty.- 61 (each). The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 01-14. This procurement is a total small-business setaside. See Note 1. The NAICS code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 451110 and $6.0M. The Quoter shall state in their quotation their business size status for this procurement. All qualified (authorized Glock distributors) responsible businesses may submit a quotation which shall be considered by this Agency. Delivery to MSFC,AL is required within 40-days after receipt of the order (ARO). Delivery shall be FOB-Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is D0-C9. Quotations for the item(s) described above may be mailed,faxed or submitted electronically to Mr. Edgar F. Sanchez/PS31, Building 4202, Room 221A, Marshall Space Flight Center, AL 35812, Phone Number 256-544-0175, FAX Number 256-544-3223, and shall include, solicitation number, FOB destination to MSFC/Huntsville, AL, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Quoters are encourage to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for commercial Items found at URL: http://procure.arc.nasa.gov/Acq/Forms/Index.html Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.121-1. Addenda to FAR 52.212-1 are as follows: MSFC 52.213-91. Reserve paragraph(s) (d),(e),(f),(h), and (i) in 52.212-1. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestice end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled “Buy America Act — Supplies,” the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin. Selection and award will be made (on an aggregate basis) to the lowest priced technically acceptable quoter. Technical acceptability will be determined at the sole discretion of the Government, based on the information submitted by the quoters. The quoters shall provide description(s) in sufficient detail to show that the product(s) quoted meets or exceeds the Governments minimum requirements. Quoters shall provide copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications – Commercial Items with their quote.
