Description

Under the subject contract, Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne shall perform an Affordable Upper Stage Engine Systems Requirements Study. The AUSEP study program will provide the necessary trade studies and programmatic analysis to demonstrate the feasibility of a new upper stage engine for both the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) and Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (CPS) applications, and to quantify the benefits of the new engine relative to the existing RL10.
