Madagascar, already suffering from five cyclones worth of storm damage, now has to worry about Tropical Cyclone Jaya. Jaya is being forecast to strike the northeast coast of Madagascar on 6:00 UTC April 3, 2007, as a category 2 storm. The previous cyclones caused a great deal of flooding, which has affected the rice fields, and thus the food supply. According to UNICEF, some 450,000 have been already affected.
