Description

On September 20, 2012, the NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) will host the Marshall Small Business Alliance Meeting at the Davidson Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Event will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m., and adjourn at 12:30 p.m. A summary of topics to be discussed at the meeting are as follows:

– Flight Programs & Partnerships Office Organizational Overview

– Marshall Prime Contractor Supplier Council and Small Business Executive Leadership Team Updates

– MSFC Acquisition Update

– NASA/MSFC Small Business Program Update

– Space Launch System Program Update

– Technology Transfer at MSFC Overview

Those in attendance will also have an opportunity to network with representatives of selected MSFC prime contractors and MSFC procurement and technical personnel throughout the day.

Additionally, MSFC will host the FY 2012 Industry and Advocates Award Ceremony during the meeting to honor MSFC prime contractors and small business advocates for their outstanding support of the NASA Small Business Programs at MSFC in FY 2012.
