EPFL is the main developer of the Khepera robot, considered as a standard in bio-inspired robotic and used by many universities and research centers worldwide. EPFL is widely recognized for their expertise in the development of innovative mechatronic solutions for mobile and modular robots, the creation of know-how for future embedded applications, and the making robot platforms more accessible for education, research and industrial development. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on Friday, March 31, 2006.
