Description
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Langley Research Center is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN)for the Aerospace Education Project (AESP). The overall goal of the proposed cooperative agreement is to promote educator professional development that enhances the K-12 education community by stimulating thoses involved with educator professional development through educator workshops, classroom demonstrations, parent programs and special events. The recipient will be required to partner with NASA to stimulate the attraction and retention of students in Scientific, Technical, Engineering and Mathematical Disciplies. The offeror is to be fully engaged in influencing strategic partnerships that promote STEM literacy and awareness of NASA’s mission.
On or about January 16, 2007, this CAN will be available electronically through attachment to this synopsis at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=23 .
Participation in this program is open to educational institutions only. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s), Tribal Colleges, and other minority insitutions (OMI) are encouraged to apply. Proposals from entities outside the United States will NOT be considered. Electronically submitted Notices of Intent to propose are requested addressed to the contact identified below.
Proposal due date is March 26, 2007 NLT 4:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) at the exact location identified in the CAN. Proposals received after that deadline will not be considered. In addition to the paper copies stated in the CAN, the offeror will be required to provide a complete electronic copy on CD-ROM. The electronic copy does not take the place of the required paper submission. For this notice, the provisions contained in the NASA Grant and Cooperative Ageement Handbook (NPR 5800.1) apply.
