CD COMM #2006-1 Strategy Implementation Retreat

February 22, 2006

All Civil Service and Contractor Employees at Langley Research Center

The Strategy Implementation Retreat was held February 13-15 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center with 160 participants, including senior leadership and all line and project leaders. The purpose of this retreat was to formulate specific actions to move us forward in accomplishing our NASA strategic goals. Some of our guiding principles during the retreat were to:

– Maintain alignment with the Agency’s Strategic Plan
 – Ensure relevance to the NASA mission
 – Grow our business in strategic areas
 – Deliver world-class products to our customers and stakeholders
