SUBJECT: COME TO THE LARC JOB FAIR

On Wednesday, February 23, recruiters from six Centers and organizations will be at Langley to recruit civil servants for their job vacancies. Those entities are Johnson Space Center (JSC), Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Goddard Flight Research Center (GFRC), Headquarters (HQ), the NASA Shared Service Center-Inherently Governmental (NSSC-IG) and the NASA Shared Service Center-Most Efficient Organization (NSSC-MEO).

All Langley government employees are encouraged to attend, listen to the recruiter presentations, and talk with hiring managers from the various hiring centers about possible job opportunities. 

Civil service employees interested in reassignment opportunities at any of these NASA organizations should click on http://workforcetransformation.nasa.gov/ or http://ohr.larc.nasa.gov/jobfair/ to find specific information about career opportunities and vacancy information.  

Reassignment notices and specific vacancy information (listed by Center) are only available at these two web sites. The reassignment opportunity notices are not visible on NASA Jobs.  You can search NASA Jobs for additional opportunities not covered by the reassignment opportunity notices.  You must apply using the NASA STARS Resume Builder or Quick Apply to receive consideration for any opportunity listed in the Notices or NASA Jobs.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 23 to attend the Job Fair, listen to the presentations, and get noticed by hiring managers.  To facilitate the recruitment process, make sure you bring copies of your latest resume.  Center specific and relocation presentations are scheduled as follows:

• KSC — 10:30 AM & 1:15 PM
• JSC — 9:15 AM & 1:00 PM                       
• GFSC — 9:45 AM & 1:30 PM
• HQ — 10:00 AM & 1:45 PM
• NSSC-Inherently Governmental — 10:15 AM & 2:00 PM
• NSSC-Most Efficient Organization (QuestTeam) — 9:30 AM & 2:15 PM      
• Cendant Mobility (Relocation Services) — 10:45 AM & 2:30 PM
