SUBJECT: CTAP Services Available

This communication serves to highlight information about Langley’s Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP). CTAP services are open to all Langley Research Center civil service employees except those in the NASA Engineering and Safety Center. CTAP provides general career assistance services for job opportunities in the local commuting area. Individual career counseling is also available as well as resume preparation assistance.

The CTAP Office is located in Building 1218 and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Employees can access the CTAP Web site at http://ohr.larc.nasa.gov/CTAP/ for more information. This site contains a helpful “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQ) section as well as information on upcoming CTAP-sponsored events such as classes, presentations, and job fairs. The site is continually updated with articles and events. It also provides specific guidance on how to apply for job vacancies.

To contact the CTAP Office directly, please call extension 44708 or send an e-mail to ctap@larc.nasa.gov. Lynda Holder is the Center’s Career Transition Program Manager and may be reached at extension 44708.
