Description
The work is located in various facilities at Langley Research Center. The demolition work consists of earthwork, site work, concrete, precast concrete, asbestos abatement, masonry, steel, metals, steel studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, interior finishes and painting, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, fire protection system, doors, windows, and other items including, but is not limited to:
– The deconstruction of the old Arc Jet Vacuum Spheres, miscellaneous structures and associated piping at Building 1267
– The deconstruction on hot water piping, abatement of asbestos insulation, and removal of associated piping within Hunsaker Loop
– The deconstruction of the Satellite Dish facility at Building 1233, associated foundation structures and cabling
– The deconstruction of the old Helicopter Test Facility Building 1231 adjacent to the Child Care facility
– The deconstruction of the part of the Component Test Laboratory, Building 1284A
– Installation and repair of high pressure air system at Building 645, East Area, NASA Langley Research Center
– Demolition of cabling and structures in tunnel at Building 1241.
