Description

NASA/KSC has a requirement for One (1) Librarian Workshop, for two(2) days with a maximum of 30 students. This course will be offered at Kennedy Space Center, Florida 32899. NASA/KSC intends to purchase the workshop from Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI). The workshop will provide a ‘train the trainer’ session for librarians to train on NASA educational STEM curricula and upcoming NASA missions, towards conducting NASA-related workshops at their local library. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Beverly.davis@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on June 13, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
