Description

NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following commercial service: Management and operation of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex under a concession agreement. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 713110 and $7 Million, respectively.

The anticipated release date of the FINAL RFP is on or about September 4, 2009, with an anticipated due date of on or about November 4, 2009. NASA/KSC contemplates award of a single, concession agreement, with a 10-year base period of performance and 6 option periods, for a total potential period of performance of 20 years resulting from the FINAL RFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. All contractual and technical questions in response to the FINAL RFP must be submitted in writing (e-mail) to the recipient identified in the FINAL RFP not later than the due date specified in the FINAL RFP. Telephone questions will not be accepted. NOTE: ALL RESPONSES MUST REFERENCE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF THE E-MAIL.

Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below.
