NASA KSC Employee Update: Photo Opportunity Thursday for The Martian Movie
By special request from the film producers of the upcoming major motion picture “The Martian,” NASA and Kennedy Space Center employees have been invited to participate in a group photo session on Thursday, June 11, at 7:30 a.m. This opportunity will take place at the KSC Visitor Complex Rocket Garden and should last no longer than one hour.
The first 200 people to show up will be included in the photo. Be advised that the photo will be altered so that 10-15 faces will be superimposed by actual cast members from the movie. We ask that you park at the KSC Visitor Complex (KSCVC) Lot 4, enter through the main entrance of KSCVC, and proceed to the Rocket Garden in order to assemble for the photograph. Gates will open promptly at 7:30 a.m.
If you are a NASA employee, your RSVP signifies your agreement to appear in the photo. NASA (KSC) contractors also are encouraged to participate in this photo opportunity (with supervisor’s approval), and it will be necessary to complete and submit a signed photograph release form prior to being photographed (see attachment). Please complete the attached release form and bring it with you to the photo session.
Please RSVP to Tiffany Boyer at tiffany.s.boyer@nasa.gov or 867-3005 by 4 p.m. today.
Typical work attire/clothes should be worn.
