Description

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has posted the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the National Science Project Incorporating Research and Education Experience (INSPIRE) contract acquisition. This action is to encourage and promote early exchanges of information for this requirement as a part of NASA’s acquisition streamlining initiatives.

The Government is seeking comments by interested companies and educational institutions relating to the draft PWS, such as reasonableness of requirements and risk of performance. Companies are requested to discuss appropriate contract types, and any other questions or concerns companies may have with the overall procurement. The Government is requesting companies to provide any comments or questions in writing via electronic mail at lourdes.brown-1@nasa.gov no later than the close of business, Monday, November 19, 2007. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.

The requested comments are for information purposes only. There will not be a formal posting of any comments received, but they will be considered by the Government and may be incorporated in the draft RFP. This is not a solicitation announcement. When a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS). It is the responsibility of potential offeror’s to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
