NASA/JSC is issuing this special notice to inform interested parties that the Safety and Mission Assurance Support Services Contract (S&MA SSC) website has been established which may be accessed at: http://jsc-web-pub.jsc.nasa.gov/bd01/sandma/Default.asp

Currently, only the Technical Library resides on this website. However, from time to time, data regarding this acquistion will be posted on the website. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor this NAIS and FedBizOpps site, as well as the S&MA website, for further information regarding this procurement. To gain access to the Technical Library, interested parties must have a User ID and a Password and must agree with JSC policy concerning the handling of the information and documentation residing in the Library. T

o obtain User ID and Password information, please contact the Contract Specialist, Fran Mahan, at 281-483-2338 or the Contracting Officer, Craig Burridge, at 281-483-2501. JSC is still in acquisition planning which will result in the award of a contract for the S&MA support services. In November 2003, a RFI was released requesting information from interested parties. The due date for responding to that request was December 15, 2003. As a result of information received from interested parties, determinations have been made that the contract will be awarded using full and open competition, and that NAICS code 541330, size standard $23 Million, applies.

This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The synopsis announcing information regarding the release of the Draft RFP and RFP will be forthcoming and will be posted in NAIS and FedBizOpps. A direct link to the NAIS site will be available on the S&MA website.
