Description
The Johnson Space Center (JSC) International Space Station (ISS) Procurement Office has extended the period of performance of the NAS15-10000 contract to September 30, 2020. The ISS Program has the responsibility to perform sustaining engineering of the ISS United States On-Orbit Segment (USOS), post-production support for the USOS, ISS integration, ISS payload integration, end-to-end subsystem management, hardware modifications, and production of spares. The ISS Program participants include, but are not limited to, the JSC and other NASA field centers, International Partners/Participants (IP/Ps), Commercial Visiting Vehicles, and ISS Program hardware and software providers. The statutory authority for proceeding with this acquisition under other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and 41 U.S.C. 3304 as contemplated by the provision of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).
