Casting representatives are now accepting submissions from NASA Langley
employees to appear as background actors for Richard Kelly’s upcoming
feature film, “The Box” starring Cameron Diaz and James Marsden.

This project is being produced under the terms of the Screen Actors Guild
(SAG) Theatrical Motion Picture contract and will be filming on Center and
at Langley Air Force Base. The tentative shooting dates are January 23 – 30.
All types are encouraged to apply. The story takes place in the 1970s so
they are particularly seeking men between the ages of 18-55 with long hair
and/or sideburns.

Any employees selected as background actors will need to coordinate time off
with their organization management; have the proper badges to access the
Center and LAFB; and reliable transportation. Travel and housing expenses
will not be reimbursed.

Please note that the production company will strictly adhere to SAG contract
terms, but SAG rates/work rules will not be extended to background actors
given the locations. SAG and The American Federation of Television and Radio
Artists (AFTRA) members are welcome, but union rates/terms will not apply to
the background in the Hampton area.

Submission forms may be found at:
