As a service to the Ames Civil Servant and Contractor community, the following event will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2005:

NOVA AND EDD COMMUNITY SERVICES CAREER TALK – NASA employees and contractors, if you want to find a new job after retirement or resignation, or are facing lay off, the NOVA (North Valley Job Training Consortium) and the EDD (Employment Development Department) organizations may be important community resources for you. Representatives will present, “Career Services Available to Secure Your Next Success Faster.” They can help you regarding when and how to file unemployment insurance, successful resume and interviewing techniques, where to go for career advice and job search workshops, efficient strategies to find your next job, how to get funding for cutting-edge training, and lots more.
